Services

First step is an initial free phone consultation to help determine if we are a good fit. In this call we will briefly (15 min) discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and you will have the opportunity to ask me questions.

After scheduling the first session, you will receive an intake packet that will need to be completed prior to the first session.

During the first session we will talk in detail about your current situation, history, and get to know me as a therapist. We will also develop goals and make plans for how therapy can help you with your goals.

Each individual therapy session is 55 minutes long and completed exclusively over Zoom (HIPPA complaint). Please ensure your camera and speaker are working properly before each session. It is also expected that you are located in a space with minimal distractions and interference.

Fees

Private Pay

To use insurance for therapy, a person must have a qualifying mental health diagnosis. This diagnosis is submitted to your insurance and becomes a part of your medical record.

  • For some people, private pay is a better option if they do not wish to use their health insurance or do not currently have health insurance.

  • Please inquire for more detailed information about fees for individual counseling.

  • I can accept credit, debit or HSA cards for payment.

Out of Network

If your insurance is not listed above and you wish to see me as an out-of-network provider, I can supply you with a superbill on the first of each month. You can then submit this to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. I encourage you to reach out to your insurance directly for an estimate on how much might be reimbursed.

Cancelations

If you are unable to make it to your scheduled appointment, please let me know as soon as possible.

Any late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) or no shows will be billed at their full rate. If you are using insurance to cover the cost of sessions, this fee will be billed directly to your credit card.

If you are running late, please contact me right away to let me know you are on your way. If I have not heard from you within the first 15 minutes of your session I will assume that you are a “no show,” your session will be forfeited, and you will be billed at your full rate (even if there is time remaining in your session).
